We had a great day climbing! the weather was great. Had a bit of a scheduling issue to begin with but it worked out great! We were so lucky to get Simon off the porch. Simon was SICK! Oh HELL YEA!

Great Scott! The guides were efficient and knew the crags very well. Our large group had more than enough climb time for each person and they were very accommodating to the large age range.

Taylor was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and personable, I would recommend him to everyone!

I did my climbing mid week so not very crowded. My guide was Simon who was friendly, professional and patient. The weather was amazing, 60 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. So many places to climb in Muir! Thank you for a great experience.

Can’t recommend these guys enough. This was the first time coming outside for my 15 year old daughter. Matt and Simon are superb. They are extremely safe and extremely fun to climb with. My daughter and I won’t forget this trip, thanks to Matt and Simon, and I hope it’s the first of many more.

David was my groups guide and he was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and had some a positive attitude with some much encouragement as we climbed, he makes you strive to be your best.

Beautiful place to climb and Simon was a great guide with a great attitude and lots of knowledge. Simon was very attentive and took care of us on the rock, made sure we were safe out there and made the experience extremely fun! Unforgetable experience and highly recommended.

Beyond awesome!!!! My 7 year old daughter and I had no idea what we were doing, had never been climbing before and had an amazing experience. Our instructor David had the best approach to every situation for both children and adults. He was very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging…also kept us laughing. The owner Matt gave me all the information I wanted before I booked so I felt safe considering it was a new adventure for just myself and my daughter. We loved it so much and we’ll definitely be back!

We booked a full day of climbing for our daughter and a half day for my husband and myself. Ian was our guide, and was very good at explaining as much or as little as we wanted to learn! He pushed us appropriately to go a little beyond our comfort zone while at the same time challenging our much more experienced daughter and teaching her a variety of new skills and techniques. He was a great teacher, very personable, and clearly had a passion for sharing his skills. We also respected his general regard for safety of all climbers out there that day, not just the 3 of us in his care. All-around great experience!

Taylor was out guide and he did an amazing job! He was super positive and affirming with my wife my 3 kids and myself. When we came to a technical part of the wall he helped us through it. He was very personal as well. We had great conversation while walking to and from the climbing areas. We are almost a week out and my kids are still talking about it and they all want to get memberships at a local climbing gym now.

Simon and Nano were great. We had all levels of skill in our group, from first time climbers to more experienced indoor climbers. Simon and Nano took great care of us, encouraged us, explained everything very well and it was just a great experience. Simon was the best hype man to keep ya going! We drove 3 hours from Mammoth Cave (where we were vacationing) to go climbing at Red River Gorge, and it was worth it! We got lost getting to the meeting spot…don’t follow your car gps, use your phone! Cell service is very spotty, but we found a kayak shop to help us on our way and took a beautiful scenic route and made it! Simon was very laid back and didn’t mind at all that we were late! Thanks Simon and Nano!! You guys are awesome! We had so much fun!!

I had a wonderful whole day of climbing with Simon today. A true professional, gentleman, and lovely human. Will not hesitate to book him again if I need a climbing partner for the day or am climbing with new climbers (or like, just cuz he’s a pleasant dude.). I learned a lot, I climbed a bunch, and had a super nice day of hanging out in the woods. I feel like he really quickly had a grasp on my skill level and picked routes accordingly. Honestly could not have found a better way to spend a 90+ degree day in the Red!

Simon provided a great climbing experience for both the least experienced climber and the most experienced climbers in our group.He was also very safety conscious and very encouraging to each of us as we climbed.

Ben was our guide, and he was extremely informative. He is an amazing climber and helped us feel very accomplished on our first time climbing outside of a gym! He was great at answering all of our questions! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Update! We came back for the gym to crag class. It was an awesome experience! We focused on cleaning the route. It was a great day of climbing with an awesome guide!

Climbed in May 2024, with guide Becca. She was absolutely great and was able to keep a mixed-experience group fully engaged and challenged throughout the day. Highly recommended.

Our guide Andy was outstanding. Very positive and encouraging. Very patient. Our boys had a blast!

My girlfriend and I had a blast. We'd never climbed, had no gear, and they provide everything needed. It rained, sleeted, and snowed yet we had dry rock. They are knowledgeable and we felt 100% safe. Give it a go, and you'll be amazed what you learn and what you can do.

Simone has a great way about him. He knew just when to encourage and guide my granddaughter or when to acknowledge a move she made. He is safe, experienced, knowledgeable, and considerate.

We loved it! We climbed with our three boys ages 3, 6, and 7 and they LOVED it! Guides were great! We also had another family with us with two boys who had so much fun as well! Well worth it!

Our guide Alex was great! We were coming from a gym environment to learn how to climb outside. He demonstrated what we needed to do to be safe and incorporated it with the best routes for us to climb given our skill level. Fun time with ton of learning!

Our guide for top rope climbing was Simon and he was excellent! He was a great teacher and motivator. He was always very calm and reasuring and I loved how he was able push us out of our comfort zone to accomplish climbs that we never thought we could do. We will be requesting him again when we return! The only reason I gave a 4 rating , instead of a 5 was that I was unable to contact the company via phone or email prior to our trip. Once Simon texted me the day before our climb, the communications were great.

Ian was a great guide, especially for my first climbing experience. Patient, emphasized safety, encouraging. And he was able to tailor the climbing for my more experienced sister. Definitely worth it!
